I haven't been on top of my game with the updates, obviously. I want to apologize for that. However, I have a plan that I'm sticking with for the next couple of years.
I'm actually going to go on a hiatus for a while, but before I do, I will have multiple stories ready to be published. Hansel and Gretel will be on of them, along side 4-5 more. Some of these won't actually be comics, rather, some will be songs and novels. A majority of them will be comics, though. I will be leaving someone in charge of releasing them while I'm gone.
The reason why I'm leaving is because I'm going to be serving as a missionary for my church for about two years. While I'm doing this, I will not be able to attend to my stories. That's the reason behind my hiatus.
I will not be saying anything about which stories I'll be releasing, but I hope you'll like them. I will be uploading more information about Hansel and Gretel soon, like a release date and some other things relating to the story's background.
Again, I'm sorry for the lack of updates and I'll be doing as much work as I possibly can!
Tales of Fabula
This world shares with us it's dark secrets... Secrets that should never have been told... The retelling of fairy tales have been orchestrated by entities of shadows... With this knowledge, let the curses begin...

House of the Witch
A new song has been uploaded on my YouTube page: House of the Witch. The song is going to be my last instrumental song in the Hansel and Gretel series. It took me a long time to get this one done, but I would like to think that I did good on it. At first I thought it sounded stupid, but I think I've grown to like it. Let me know what you think!
The next song I'm working on will be done with Vocaloid, specifically Miriam; a Zero-G Vocaloid. The song is called Little Duck and the lyrics are straight from the original fairy tale, with a different meaning behind it. It's going to be awesome!
But yeah, this weekend I have a little surprise. I intend to reveal a new cover for the comic and a few new pages from the story. I thought that the cover we currently have wasn't... "good" enough. I was looking at some comics that I have and thought that my cover was very irregular. At least to me. So, I figured I would redraw the cover to my liking and fix a few things that I think need it. The new pages will be the best part, in my opinion. It won't tell you much, but I think you'll like it.
The week after that I hope to release a new poem, which will be told from Wilhelm's (Hansel and Gretel's father) perspective. The poem won't spoil the story, but it'll mean so much more once the story has been concluded.
This is all leading up to the story's release, so I hope you are looking forward to it! And thank you all for your patience!

A New Poem and Vocaloid
I'll start with poems, since it relates to the Tales of Fabula. Anyways, I new poem has been added to the Hansel and Gretel page! Look under the "Poems" section and you'll find one that's called "Days of our Past". I really like this one, it talks about the events before the actual story, while being told after the events. I made sure to make it rhyme this time, so it's actually real fun to read. Now, if you remember, the poems are tools that will help you better understand the story. For this one, it helps you see certain things from Hansel and Gretel's viewpoint. Like, for an example, how their stepmother always treated them with spite, but they never saw that from her.
Also, if you haven't noticed in the poem, it gives two hints for future stories. One hint is rather clear, but still takes some thinking, while the other one is harder to notice. I think you'll find out in the future what story is what. And you all will be happy to hear that the script for Hansel and Gretel is finished and the script for the next story has just begun. I'm not going to drop any hints right now, but in the near future I'll be leaving clues about the story on my Twitter page.
Now, about a month or so ago, I had just got my first Vocaloid. What is Vocaloid, you might ask? Well, Vocaloid is a voice synthesizer used to make songs. It's mostly popular in Japan, but it's fame is starting to pick up here in the United States. I've been interested for quite some time and thought that I should jump into it. I tested out the Vocaloid I got, who is VY1, in a song cover. The song is from the anime/cartoon, Clannad. Listen to it and let me know what you think. (Warning: This song is in Japanese. If you don't like Japanese or don't care for it, you don't have to listen to it.)
I spent about a week on this, but I know I could have done better. So, you might be wondering why I am mentioning this on a blog that has nothing to do with Vocaloid. Well, I'm a storyteller. And as a storyteller, I try to find new ways to share my ideas. Like, I might draw a simple picture to tell a story. I might write a book to tell my story. I might make a animation to tell my story. So, why not tell my story through music and Vocaloid? That's exactly what I intend to do. Right now, I'm going to try to get English Vocaloids, so there won't be many songs from me. If you want to hear more music in the future, subscribe to my YouTube channel. It's not that great right now, so you really don't have to. All I do are music videos, songs, and drawing videos. If anything real important is uploaded, I'll share it here on the blog.
Anyways, I hope you are looking forward to future songs and comics that are coming. A new poem will be made in about two weeks, as well as another song after that. Check back here every Saturday for a new post. Until then, take care!

Hansel and Gretel - Prelude of the Curse
So I made a new song for Hansel and Gretel. I actually made this song with Mixcraft 6, instead of my normal microphone and keyboard. I'll probably be making the next few songs with Mixcraft, so let me know if you like it!
"Prelude of the Curse" is based off the events of Hansel and Gretel being abandoned in the forest. The song focuses more on the tragic side of it, unlike the two songs before it, which were more fear based songs. But this song in particular can be seen in a fearful way, but it's more like a personal fear instead of a scary song altogether. But once you read the comic and get to the part where Hansel and Gretel are abandoned, this song will definitely fit the mood.
I'll be making a new poem too, but maybe it'll be during the week. My last post said that the poem will focus more on Hansel and Gretel's life in the woods. It'll also hint at future stories that are related to Hansel and Gretel. I do hope that you are looking forward to it! I'll also be showing some of the comic next week. Until that time comes, take care!

New Song, Poem, and Book in the Works
I have some exciting new products in the works! It's my goal to get the Tales of Fabula recognized by as many people as possible, so I dive into multiple sources of media that are available to me. Most of you have already heard the music I have made, but I want to do something a little more with the music. So far, all my songs are instrumental, which is probably going to be the case for the fairy tales that are in the Fabula series. However, I really want to make a song that has lyrics to it. As it stands, I'm making my normal songs, with just music. However, before the year is over, expect at least one song that has lyrics in it. I'm excited for it, and hopefully you will be too. More information about the song will come in the future.
I also have plans to make a new poem for next week. The poem will most likely center around Hansel and Gretel's life in the woods. The poem will talk about things before the events that take place in the comic and it might give hints to future stories. Most of the time, my poems don't rhyme, so I hope for this next one to have at least some rhyming in it. It's just the way older poems are told, so I want to kind of do that myself. It's not THAT important to me, but I think it would be good to do so once in a while.
Lastly, I wanted to mention that I'm working on a coloring book. It's not really a Tales of Fabula coloring book, but it does feature fairy tale stories. It's actually meant to be for a service project that I'm doing. I am making hygiene kits for a woman's shelter, and as a gift for the kids that they have with them, I'll be giving these books to them. Now to help out with this, I'm leaning to selling these online for maybe $3.00 (not including shipping) and every cent will be donated to the charity. I'm not sure if I'll do this due to production costs, but I really want to do charity things like this. I think it would be a good opportunity to use my skills to benefit someone else who is in need. Let me know what you think and maybe we can make this work.
Not much else to report on, but I am getting ready to make some huge announcements in the coming weeks. I still have the goal to release Hansel and Gretel by next month, and once I do, the next story in line will be revealed. It's going to be awesome!

Updates to the Blog
So I made some changes to the blog, as most of you can probably tell. I like some of the changes I made, but I think with this layout more changes are inevitable. More or less, actually. I plan to update the blog often, some things might even be updated without your knowing. I'll do my best to keep you aware of the updates, but I'm not sure a blog post would be worth it. So to be fully updated on all the changes, go ahead and stay updated with my Facebook and Twitter. My Twitter is more up-to-date than my Facebook, just to let you know.
The "Once Upon a Time" tab is the place where you'll be going to the most to get easy access to the comics pages. As some would notice, I made a post with all the three tabs (Comics, Music, Poems) in one. It'll get updates that I would have made to those tabs. Sooner or later, the post will fade off with the old posts, thus the point for the "Once Upon a Time" tab. This tab will have a link to the post with all the information on it. The tab will also feature future stories that are apart of the same timeline.
The "Store" tab is self explanatory; a page with all the merchandise I'm selling. Currently all I have is Hansel and Gretel, but other stories will be joining it soon. Also, if you take a look at the things I'm selling, there is one that says "Commission". This is an option where you can buy a commission from me. I'll be working on the details, but what you'll most likely have to do is contact me on deviantART and request the commission there. More things will be added to the "Store" page, like handmade objects and merchandise provided by other means.
The "Pictures" tab was something I wanted to add for the longest time. All the art I do for this series will be featured there. I think you'll enjoy the pictures that will appear there. I'll even put fan art up if people send it in. I love drawing, so I'll be adding pictures there every weekend, starting next week. If you like my art style, be sure to visit my deviantART page, where I draw a bunch of stuff outside of the Tales of Fabula.
And the last tab is one I just added for the heck of it. The "About" tab will feature questions I get from people about the Fabula series. It'll probably be the least updated out of the blog, but probably one of the most beneficial. I only have three questions up right now, with more on the way as I receive them.
The blog is easy to get around, with a lot more options than before. I hope you're looking forward to future updates and stories. Remember, if you have any questions or fairy tales that you want to see join the series, just leave a comment. I want to be connected to my fans and just about anyone who thinks my stories are worth looking into. Thanks a ton everyone and I'll see you next week!
Hansel and Gretel Information
This page is dedicated specifically for Hansel and Gretel of the Tales of Fabula series.
Story thus far… A famine has accrued and a family of four is suffering from it. The father of the family, Wilhelm, has lost his wife many years prior. Before her death, she had twins, Hansel and Gretel. To make sure that they get the love of a mother, he had married again. He fell in love with a woman named Annie, who was friendly and a good housewife. To their demise, she was an unloving woman when it came to Hansel and Gretel. Annie looked for reasons to get rid of them so that it could be just her and Wilhelm, but she could not do it. Hansel and Gretel always beat her at her own game. But, perhaps there is one more trick that the twins cannot overcome…
Now in this day, we are just puppets on a string
Cursed to be burned by a never ending fire
By he, who has made an unstoppable choir
We now sit in our sufferings, waiting for the light to come
Oh, how great our past life was in that time
Oh, how we loved being in our prime
With parents who loved us without ending
Even if our mother's love was very rending
We didn't notice, so it was pleasing to us
Even living in the woods, we didn't seem to mind
It taught us how to be humble and kind
But we did think of what it must be like to live in a town
But the nearest one was burnt down
All because of one man's greed from golden eggs
If only we could see, see the obvious truth
Then we could have fought the evil in our youth
But now we are under a curse from our own wicked doing
But the Orchestra had corrupted our viewing
Committing a horrible act was the thing we did last
All back in our days, the days of our past

But now we are under a curse from our own wicked doing
But the Orchestra had corrupted our viewing
Committing a horrible act was the thing we did last
All back in our days, the days of our past
Curses of Eternity
What it means to lose it all
What it means to look back at time
The true meaning of this evil action
Will one day be understood by those who fall into her hands
As if there were any reasons to carry out these songs
One would think these actions are pure evil
Yet those mortals carry out their own selfish deeds
They have the courage to carry them out
Those that are their own destruction
Now we go and punish them for their foolishness
This task is heavy, even for the strongest
Wherefore, a deal must be made to the simple minded
Give into their selfish desires so that they may fall
Now they aid in the cursing through their own curse
The curse that never seems to fade away
The fox of deceit, the wolf of evil, and the wizard of confusion
Only the chosen people have seen their music
The music that is constructed by an even greater force
Is it by this force the curses are placed?
It must be, the evil within the selfishness
Are curses that have lived more near to that of "eternity"
Out Past Dark
This feeling is something beyond comprehension
It brings me joy, yet great sorrow to my heart
A feeling that comes only after the sun sets
In this forest that is known as home to many,
An uneasy feeling drifts into my soul like that of hell
Never to stay out past this time, never to travel at night,
Night being the time, darkness shall stay outside
Destruction would follow if no one else did
Why must this feeling be evil?
Where and when did it come into this forest?
Curiosity has lead the way for all who enter the forest
Down the road, surely family awaits there
Hope, in the form of a bird, in the form of feelings
Surely there is hope down this way, as the thoughts flow
Not being the first one on this road, has my family been here?
Night has come and the sun has fallen from the sky
That evil entity, it must have caused this uneasy feeling
When looked upon, it seems to be but a shadow
Paranoia shall not have me, nor others who follow the feelings
It's in that happy moment that a curse had been cast
Cast upon a sorry soul in that forest known as "my" feelings
